PrintSure is shipped with several profiles out of the box, including the Ghent PDF Workgroup profiles, which have been tested by the Ghent Workgroup for compliance. PrintSure was certified as compliant on the 25th of October, 2005. PrintSure is compliant with Ghent PDF Workgroup standard version 2 and version 3. Latest compliancy checking with the GWG version 3 (2005) specifications, incl. the Packaging Baseline v1 specification was passed on the 8th of June 2006. By using the Ghent PDF Workgroup profiles in your workflow, you can ensure that you take advantage of the expertise contained in the group, and therefore make your workflow more efficient, cost effective and problem-free. The Ghent PDF Workgroup was formed to create more reliable workflows between creators of digital page designs (designers, DtP- and prepress companies) and companies that process the pages to final paper products (prepress companies, digital- and other printers). In its search for specifications that could be recommended to its members, the Ghent PDF Workgroup concluded that existing standards were too wide to cater to the specific requirements of their vertical markets and for the specific problems with (older) equipment and software used by their members.
