Integrate PrintSure with third party systems through custom scripting.

PrintSure workflows can be configured to execute an external script – CGI, Perl, DOS/Windows batch, Applescript, JavaScript, Java – any script or program, which the shell can execute.

The script being executed is given access to all the information collected by the workflow – file name and location, pre-flight checking results, details filled into the job form by the user, user name, etc.

The details, passed to the external script or program can be then used to save them to an MIS system database, appended to a file, given to a third-party workflow system, exported to an accounting system for automation of billing, and in many other business process automation tasks.

To use this facility, the PrintSure administrator has to select the required script through the web browser-based workflow administration interface – everything else is done automatically by the PrintSure system.
