Version 2.0

Release date: 2005-08-03

Beta release date: 2005-07-11

+ Entities model
Transmission model has been expanded to allow more flexible sending through the addition of destinations. Now single-user (individual) or multi-user (group) destinations can be used to simplify recipient specification, whilst maintaining control and awareness through notification. This way nVerge integrates into existing workflows easier, by providing workflow-like transmission and easily configurable control to the recipients.
+ View recipient delivery confirmation
All the recipient users who have viewed the job details will be logged to be viewed by the sender.
+ 'Allow to view all in/out jobs' option for user account
Administrators will be able to allow ordinary users to view all system jobs, in read only mode, for monitoring purposes.
+ Log viewer
After jobs are deleted from the incoming queue, details are only available form the system logs. The log viewer will allow administrators to view the logs via the nVerge web portal.
+ File/folder add interface for satellite
Satellite send interface will allow addition of files and folders, rather then requiring that all files are selected at the initial drag and drop stage of sending a job.
+ Separate jobs for each folder in Hot Folder
Multiple folders dropped into a hot folder will be considered as separate jobs and an individual job will be created for each folder.
+ Show average transfer speed for completed jobs
After a job is completed, average transmission speed will be available for the job.
+ View scheduling for normal users
Ordinary users will be able to view scheduling details.
+ HotFolder jobs are named by first file or folder
Jobs created automatically form folders dropped into nVerge hot folders will be named from the name of the processed folder or file.
+ Multiple satellite destinations
Administrators can now assign one or more local server destinations to the satellite, allowing jobs from a satellite to be delivered into different workflows automatically.
