| nVerge caches jobs prior to transmission, so if storage, from which the files are been sent from becomes unavailable, nVerge will still be able to carry on transmitting from the local cache. As nVerge also caches incoming files first, before delivering them to the final destination folder, attached storage problems are anticipated, and do not hold up transfer. If final destination folder becomes unavailable or runs out of space, and nVerge is unable to copy the files, it will hold the job and automatically keep retrying for a while, after which the job will be "parked". Once the problem with the final destination is resolved "Parked" jobs can be manually set to retry by the administrator. |
