LONDON, England – 15 July, 2006 – DevZeroG Ltd a global leader in productivity solutions for the print and media asset delivery industries, today releases nVerge 3.0, a new version of its unique secure data transfer management solution.
nVerge server is a host to host or central hub secure data distribution solution which automates tasks such as compression, transmission, recovery, resuming, delivery verification, notification, tracking and many more mundane and monotonous tasks associated with data transfer, producing dramatic increases in productivity and real savings - straight to the bottom line.
Support fully controllable peer-to-peer file transfer between different nVerge servers or an nVerge server and distributed clients (nVerge Satellites), transfer files from HotFolder to the configured remote destination or Satellite or compose and send job right from the web interface. The most important features in the new version are:
- Support for job prioritisation with ability to change job priority in runtime;
- Direct send mode. Allows sending of files directly to the other server destination omitting the cache. Will decrease delivery time;
- Ability to send jobs on a currently un-activated satellite. Jobs will be delivered after the satellite is installed;
- Customise email notification based on job statuses. Now users can select notification on the following statuses: created, paused or resumed, scheduled, delivered, confirmed, deleted;
- Control External Access, a mechanism to control what destinations other servers see;
- Generate CSV reports from logs.
